Psychic Tarot Dreams

The Tarot, Dreams and the Soul

With the Psychic tarot 22 major arcana cards, you can also embark on a journey of soul-discovery, and interpret your dreams.

By looking at the similarities between the 22 major arcana of the Tarot and the 22 Number-letters which make up the code of the Cabbala, the pack of 22 major arcana of the Tarot can be seen as a kind of alphabet of the soul.

Through the use of the cross-shaped spread, the more immersed you are in your present concern at the time of choosing four cards from your pack of 22 major arcana, the more your chosen cards and the interpretation you will draw from them.

This will reflect exactly how you are feeling at the time, your present situation, the daily events in your life, the circumstances in which you find yourself and, of course, the probable evolution of these circumstances.

You may then go on to think that all that is occurring in your life is inscribed in yourself, and that the Tarot is a code or an alphabet which allows you to read yourself through the tarot.

EMBARK ON A JOURNEY OF SOUL-DISCOVERY THANKS TO THE TAROT
You may then use the 22 major arcana to achieve self-analysis. To do so, you agree on a regular time and day, at least once a week, and keep a journal of your spreads. You will need much objectivity to do this, and to show a clear minded attitude towards yourself.

Some of us need a guide or mentor to guide them on their journey to self-knowledge. But others prefer to do this on their own, and need no help whatsoever. Make sure that you are confident in undertaking this voyage alone in self-analysis.

It is very important for you to be organised and find, in your schedule, a quiet and peaceful moment, at set and regular times; once a week or once a month if you like, with a notebook which will become a journal recording your questions, your spreads and the interpretations yo
u will draw from them.

Make yourself comfortable and think about your question. This time however, your question will not relate to an event or a situation in your life you need to investigate, but will be focused on yourself, your behaviour, your attitudes, your actions and reactions, your motivations, your feelings, your desires, etc, all the factors, elements, and characteristics which make up your personality.

You should ask a question about yourself.  For instance, if you are very emotional, ask yourself the question why you are like this. Or else, if your are feeling worried or anxious for no real or obvious reason, ask yourself the cause of these anxieties which are tormenting or distressing you, as asking one question often leads on to another.

In your journal, enter the layout of the spread you have just carried out, before you start your interpretation. Finally, carry out your interpretation,  In this case however, you are not of course trying to find an answer relating to an event or situation in your life, but to a mental state, a psychological behaviour, mechanisms that are working within the deepest part of yourself, and of which you are endeavouring to become aware.

Your interpretation needs to be even more accurate and subtle, it should not be definite. Take all the time you need to work it out and, as far as possible, do not be too abstract under the pretext that you are dealing with your inner self.  In the same way that the Tarot confronts us with the reality of events, circumstances and situations in our life, it can also confront us with the reality of ourselves, what we really are and what we are often a victim of.

Remember that you are not an abstract entity, but a person made out of flesh and bones, truly alive both physically and morally. Having derived from your spread an interpretation which you think is as clear and precise as you can manage, and relates to your initial question, take note of it so that you may be able to reflect on it, go back to it and study it in more depth.

INTERPRET YOUR DREAMS WITH THE TAROT
Following the same method, you can also interpret your dreams with the 22 major arcana of the Tarot, using once again the cross-shaped spread. If you have a clear recollection of a dream, write it down in a notebook, as precisely as possible, first remembering to take note of the date.

As soon as you have the time, re-read what you have written, immerse yourself once again in the world of your dream, and carry out a cross-shaped spread to try and find its meaning thanks to the five major arcana which you select from the deck.

Do not be tempted to be too abstract when interpreting. For instance, if your spread is made up of the Lovers, the Devil, the Moon and the Emperor, in this order, with the Chariot as your central, card, you may conclude that your dream is telling you that you are about to make a poor choice, a wrong decision, or that you are feeling unsure and confused.

These aspects are revealed by the Lovers and the Moon Tarot cards in particular, and your decision risks being imposed on you by extreme circumstances represented by the Chariot, or by someone in authority, the Devil as an outsider and the Emperor as the authority figure.
